What an AI interview assistant does
An AI interview assistant works during the interview, not before it. It transcribes what the interviewer asks, reads whatever is on your screen — a coding problem, a shared doc, a diagram — and puts a structured answer in front of you while the question is still being asked. InterviewPilot does this from a desktop overlay that sits above your meeting and coding windows but is left out of every screen share.

How InterviewPilot works, step by step
- Add your context once. Upload your resume and paste the job description, so answers are written from your real projects and vocabulary.
- Start a session before the call. The overlay opens above your meeting app with screen-share privacy already on.
- It listens. Deepgram Nova-3 streaming speech-to-text transcribes the interviewer separately from you, in English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German.
- It reads the screen. For coding rounds it captures the problem from your display — no copy-paste, no browser extension.
- The answer streams in. Pick Concise, Explained, STAR — the response appears token by token on the overlay, which only you can see.
Coding & DSA rounds
Reads the problem, constraints and examples off HackerRank, LeetCode, CodeSignal and similar editors, then returns explained code with time and space complexity.

Structures the discussion — requirements, capacity estimates, components, trade-offs — as the interviewer adds constraints.
