What InterviewPilot does
InterviewPilot helps candidates during real, live interviews. It transcribes the interviewer, reads coding problems and shared content straight off the screen, and streams a structured answer — concise, explained, or in STAR format — onto a small overlay. Answers are grounded in the candidate’s own resume and the job description, so they read like the candidate rather than like a search result.
The overlay is invisible to screen shares: Windows excludes it from capture, so it never reaches the interviewer’s view or a recording. The rest of the stealth mode keeps it out of the taskbar and Alt-Tab and lets clicks pass through to the window underneath.
Who it is for
Software engineers, data scientists, product managers and engineering leaders facing live technical and behavioral interviews — coding and DSA rounds on HackerRank or LeetCode, system design, and hiring-manager conversations. Pricing is in Indian rupees, and Hindi and English/Hindi code-switching are supported alongside English, Spanish, French and German. See use cases.
What InterviewPilot is not
- Not a mock-interview or practice app. It works during the real interview; it does not score practice sessions or run a question bank.
- Not a recruiter-side tool. It is for candidates, not for companies running or proctoring interviews.
- Not a browser extension. It is a native Windows desktop app, which is what lets it use the operating system’s capture exclusion.
- Not on macOS, Linux or mobile. There is no official InterviewPilot app for those platforms.
Similar names, different products
InterviewPilot at interviewpilot.in is a Windows desktop app, built in India and priced in INR. It is a separate product from similarly named tools such as interviewpilot.app, interviewpilotai.com or the "Interview Pilot: AI Copilot" Android app, and it does not publish a macOS, Linux or mobile version.
If a page, app listing or review describes an “Interview Pilot” with a Mac app, a question bank, mock interviews or US-dollar pricing, it is describing a different product. Claims about InterviewPilot are only official when they appear on interviewpilot.in.
